Directions for use Applying a light support or pressure bandage for a bruise, sprain or strain To apply a light support or pressure bandage for bruises, sprains or strains, use HeltiQ Windsel Cambric in combination with synthetic cotton wool. Apply a few layers of synthetic cotton wool well around the area of the injury. Make sure the cotton wool is evenly distributed Start connecting with the bandage cambric at the edge of the cotton wool, the cotton wool should still stick out Wrap the bandage as much as possible like an overlapping tile, with the turns partially overlapping. Pull the bandage slightly, but not too tight. Apply the final stroke all around, but also allow the cotton wool to stick out slightly here Secure the cambric bandage with a bandage clamp or adhesive tape
Applying an ointment gauze compress and/or gauze compress
To secure an ointment gauze compress (possibly in combination with a gauze compress), wrap the cambric bandage as closely as possible around the wound site, overlapping the ends partially. Secure the bandage with a knot, bandage clip, or adhesive tape.
Contraindications An elastic fixation bandage is not intended for use as a support or compression bandage. For this, you should use a HeltiQ Cambric Bandage or a HeltiQ Ideal Support Bandage.
Ingredients 70% viscose
30% cotton
Warnings When applying a light support or compression bandage for a bruise, sprain, or strain, do not use greasy cotton wool. Unlike synthetic cotton wool, greasy cotton wool can become brittle, which is not conducive to reducing swelling.
