What is this medicine used for? Wapiti Cough Syrup is a medical aid for all types of cough. It works for both persistent and dry (tickly) coughs.
The sugar in the syrup forms a protective layer over the irritated mucous membranes in the throat, keeping them moist, which reduces coughing. It also soothes the throat and supports recovery. The syrup has a pleasant flavor thanks to a combination of plant extracts and anise.
Directions for use Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older: 10 ml 3 to 5 times daily. Children aged 3 to 11 years and older: 5 ml 3 to 5 times daily. Swallow Wapiti Cough Syrup slowly. Consult a doctor if the cough persists for more than 7 days or if it changes in the meantime. to worsen.
Ingredients Sucrose (saccharose, sugar), thyme extract, liquorice root extract, Grindelia extract,
lungwort extract, anise oil, ethanol, potassium sorbate (E 202), citric acid
(acidity regulator E 330), ammonium hydroxide (acidity regulator E 527), and water. Alcohol 2.5% vol. (= 200 mg per 10 ml), which is equivalent to 5 ml of beer or 2 ml of wine. No noticeable effects are expected from this small amount of alcohol.
Wapiti Cough Syrup is gluten free.
