Tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia)

Tree native to Australia. The tea tree gets its name from a botanist who accompanied an expedition in 1770 and used the leaves of this tree to brew tea, hence the name tea tree.
Of all essential oils, tea tree is arguably the most versatile.
This oil is a true first aid oil and should not be missing in any household.

Directions for use
Can be used undiluted on the skin. Caution: only apply to the area to be treated, avoid the surrounding skin. Always read the leaflet before use. Here you will also find more information about dosages for various applications.

Warnings
Safety instructions With the exception of tea tree and lavender, essential oils should not be applied neat to the skin. If an essential oil accidentally gets into the eyes or causes irritation, immediately apply a fatty vegetable oil to the affected area. In case of accidental internal use, immediately drink several sips of fatty vegetable oil. This is because essential oils dissolve best in, for example, olive oil or sunflower oil. In addition, these oils have an immediate soothing effect. Then immediately alert a doctor! Warning: Essential oils can only be used internally under expert supervision. Volatile's aromatherapist advises against internal use. Never experiment with this yourself! Always keep oils out of reach of children. Some essential oils should not be used in babies or during pregnancy.
