Our dried cranberries are sweetened with cane sugar and sourced from Canada. The reason our cranberries are sweetened with cane sugar is to offset the tartness of the cranberry. The natural acidity of cranberries is so high that they can oxidize quickly; adding cane sugar slows this process.
