Everyone's probably familiar with classic pillboxes. These boxes have numerous compartments for each day of the week and a few specific times of day. Once a week, the compartments need to be filled, allowing you to plan your week. Such a box is also quite large and therefore doesn't fit a modern, outgoing lifestyle. That's where Vitility comes in.

Vitility has developed the smart pillbox, a small box no bigger than an average smartphone. It has six compartments where your medications can be easily stored. The smart part is in the app that comes with the smart pillbox. The app is called Pill Buddy and is available for Android and iOS. It makes it so you can never forget to take your pills and keep track of your inventory. Simply enter the medication in the app, along with the frequency and time of use, and the number of pills. You can do this for up to six different types of pills. The app then takes over the scheduling and lets you know when to take your next pill(s) and when the compartments need refilling.

The smart pill boxes come with 3 stickers that you can place on the inside of the box as an extra reminder or when you are not using the app.
