The elastic laces allow you to put your shoes on and take them off independently without bending over. The elastic laces only need to be tied once, after which the laced shoe becomes a slip-on.

Usage
The first time, the laces are tied just once while the shoe is on. After that, the laces never need to be untied or tied again, because the laces stretch when the shoe is put on or taken off.
