Vitals Guar Bean FibersVitals Guar Bean Fibers
With Sunfiber®, soluble fiber from Indian guar beans
The guar plant (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba) is cultivated in several parts of India, even in places with severe drought. The beans and leaves of this plant have been part of the Indian diet for thousands of years. Guar beans are a rich source of soluble prebiotic fiber. Vitals Guar Bean Fibers uses Sunfiber®. This is the brand name for guar bean fiber that, through a natural fermentation process, acquires its superior user-friendly properties, such as excellent water solubility. Sunfiber®'s fermented guar bean fibers are globally considered ideal fibers!
What are fibers?
Dietary fibers are long chains of carbohydrates, consisting of 10 or more carbohydrate building blocks (monosaccharides), that cannot be broken down by digestive enzymes in the human small intestine. Dietary fibers are an important part of a varied and balanced diet. Fibers can be divided into two categories: water-soluble and water-insoluble fibers. Examples of water-soluble fibers include guar bean fibers (also called galactomannan), inulin (FOS), and psyllium fibers. Water-insoluble fibers include wheat bran and fibers from other (whole grain) cereals. Water-soluble fibers are also called prebiotics because they can be fermented by gut flora. The more soluble a fiber is, the better it is fermented. During fermentation by gut flora, metabolites such as short-chain fatty acids (including butyrate, propionate, acetate) are produced. However, it is important that this fermentation process does not occur too quickly, as this can otherwise cause gas formation.
Sunfiber® from Taiyo
Sunfiber® has the ideal properties of excellent water solubility, and a fermentation that is not too fast, but complete. This makes the product very user-friendly compared to, for example, psyllium fibers which dissolve significantly less well in water, and inulin which is fermented very quickly. Taiyo is the producer of Sunfiber® and a global market leader and expert in guar bean fibers. Guar bean fibers normally form a gel in water. Taiyo has therefore developed a special production process to make the fibers dissolve better in water. The reason for this gel formation is that guar bean fibers naturally consist of very long chains of carbohydrates. Through a fermentation process (by adding a natural enzyme), the long chains are, as it were, pre-digested in the factory into shorter chains, which are much more soluble. However, the carbohydrate chains should not become too short, because otherwise they would be fermented too quickly in the intestine. Taiyo's unique production process ensures optimal chain length and gives Sunfiber® its ideal properties. Moreover, the Sunfiber® in Guar Bean Fibers is made entirely from cultivated guar beans.

Ingredients
Fermented guar bean fibers (from Indian guar beans, Cyamopsis tetragonoloba).
Usage
Take 1-2 level scoops (5-10 grams) daily with a meal. Mix with water (approx. 200 ml) or another liquid. Let the drink stand for a while to allow the fibers to dissolve completely. The fibers can also be added to food (such as yogurt), even to warm foods. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. A 15 ml scoop (= approx. 5 grams) is included. Please note: Do not take concurrently with medication. Allow at least 1-2 hours between taking medication and guar bean fibers.
