Elke Dag Junior is a chewable tablet shaped like an elephant with strawberry flavor, specially developed for children ages 3 and up. Elke Dag Junior excels in composition, dosage, and absorption. The chewable tablet contains almost all the same high-quality ingredients as Elke Dag for adults, but the dosages are adapted to the needs of (young) children. For example, each tablet contains a whopping 15 mcg of vitamin D3 (so separate vitamin D drops are no longer necessary). It also contains 60 mg of magnesium and 120 mg of calcium, from natural sources. In short, Elke Dag Junior will easily compare with other children's multivitamins!

What's new?
The formula now contains 15 mcg of vitamin D3 instead of 10 mcg, vitamin K2 instead of 20 mcg, and vitamin K1 instead of 45 mcg. Furthermore, the magnesium content has been increased from 20 mg to 60 mg, along with 120 mg of calcium. This formula also includes lutein and zeaxanthin, which is highly recommended in this day and age when children often spend a lot of time looking at screens with blue light.

Sweetener from a natural source
The excipients used also play a significant role in determining whether a multivitamin is of high quality. Most children's multivitamins in the form of chewable tablets consist largely of sugars or artificial sweeteners to improve taste. Elke Dag Junior is primarily sweetened with steviol glycosides from the stevia plant, and now also partially with erythritol. This is a natural sweetener found in foods like fruit, mushrooms, and cheese. It has no calories and is largely absorbed in the small intestine and almost entirely excreted in urine. It doesn't affect blood sugar levels and isn't harmful to teeth or oral health. A great alternative to sugar or other unwanted (artificial) sweeteners!

Usage
Children aged 3 years and older: Chew 1 tablet daily with a meal or as directed. If your child has difficulty chewing tablets, it is best to crush them and mix them with yogurt or porridge, for example. Stick to the recommended dosage. This dietary supplement is not suitable for children under 1 year of age (legal
mandatory declaration for products up to and including 3 mg vitamin B6 per daily dose).
