The deacidified form of vitamin C
Ascorbic acid is by far the most well-known form of vitamin C. It's also the one naturally found in our diet. Oranges, broccoli, and apples—the vitamin C in these foods is all considered ascorbic acid.
Calcium & Magnesium Ascorbate
However, this form is classified as acidic, meaning that supplementation in high doses can cause gastrointestinal discomfort. For those with high vitamin C needs, we therefore recommend our powder; a so-called ascorbate bound to calcium and magnesium. This form is labeled as deacidifying and therefore extremely gentle on the stomach and intestines!
High dose of vitamin C per scoop of 2067 mg
Each scoop contains a whopping 2076 mg of vitamin C. This is also called a therapeutic dose, as it significantly exceeds the reference intake. Moreover, this amount doesn't fit in a capsule. For increased vitamin C needs, it's recommended to choose Vitamin C Powder as Calcium & Magnesium Ascorbate.
