Eating fatty fish is not high on the priority list in our country. Research also shows that most Dutch people do not consume the recommended amount of omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, which are mainly found in fatty fish. This is a cause for concern, as our bodies cannot produce these essential fatty acids themselves.
Our Fish Oil 1200 TG Liquid contains an extremely high dosage of no less than 610 mg EPA and 407 mg DHA from 1,200 mg omega-3.
High omega-3 concentration of >70%
A high concentration of over 70 percent omega-3 fatty acids is not self-evident in liquid form. In an average triglyceride-based fish oil concentrate, we often see ratios of 26-57%. The reason for this is that EPA and DHA are molecularly bound to other fatty acids. We aim for the highest possible omega-3 content. We achieve this by separating EPA and DHA from the other fatty acids through a careful extraction process.
Natural and best absorbable triglyceride form
When we develop omega-3 supplements, we separate the active ingredients EPA and DHA from the other fatty acids. This happens in two ways:
The first extraction process is the easiest and cheapest, but this process forms so-called ethyl esters, which our body absorbs less well. When we absorb omega-3, we need enough of the substance glycerol. This is not always the case, which means that omega-3 is not absorbed efficiently.
In the second, high-quality process, the substances are returned to their original molecular structure. We call these triglycerides, and this is the natural form of omega-3 with the highest bioavailability. In fact, our body absorbs them best without the aid of any excipients. For this reason, Fish Oil 1200 TG Liquid also exclusively contains triglycerides.
Sustainably sourced from non-endangered fish species
Our fish oil is extracted from 100% anchovies. This is a non-endangered fish species, unlike, for example, mackerel, cod, and brook trout, which are often the basis for fish oil supplements. Anchovies naturally have a short lifespan. Our renowned supplier Golden Omega® catches them off the coast of Chile. These waters are globally known for their abundance of fish. An additional advantage is that Golden Omega® holds leading sustainability certifications, such as Friend of the Sea®, Green-e®, IFOS®, and Marin Trust®.
GoldenOmega® ensures environmentally friendly production process
Both fishing and the production process of the supplement are centralized, as our omega-3 developer is located in Chile. This prevents unnecessary shipping of products with extra CO2 emissions. In addition, Golden Omega® uses sustainable energy sources (solar panels and wind turbines).
Fat-soluble vitamins: A, D and E
Vitamins A, D and E are fat-soluble vitamins. Vitamin E, as with our other omega-3 products, has an antioxidant effect and thus protects the oil against oxidation. Getting enough vitamin D can sometimes be a challenge but is very important for our body.
These vitamins are also found in cod liver oil, but many people make a disgusted face at the smell and taste. This makes Fish Oil 1200 TG Liquid a complete product with a pleasant taste and additional vitamins.
Safe glass packaging
The oil is packaged in a glass bottle and is therefore BPA-free. In addition to vitamin E protecting the oil against oxidation, this packaging optimally protects the oil against external influences.
Pure and safe thanks to certified laboratory Orivo®
The extraction of omega-3 oil is already sustainable, but the entire production process from catch to oil is also sustainable, safe, and pure. Orivo® is a laboratory specializing in authentic and sustainable marine products. Under their supervision, they ensure that our fish oil is completely free of contaminants. Sometimes these unintentionally end up in food (e.g., heavy metals like lead).
To give an idea: the European guideline states that fish products may contain a maximum of 0.3 mg of lead per kg. The proportion in our fish oil supplement appears to be less than 0.008 mg according to the Certificate of Analysis. That is almost forty (!) times lower. ToTox (oxidation value) below 5
Another important point is that our liquid fish oil has an exceptionally low ToTox oxidation value (lower than 5). The lower this value, the fresher the oil is. In the European guidelines, the ToTox value is 26, which means that Fish Oil 1200 TG Liquid is well below this.

Usage
