In traditional Chinese medicine, the reishi mushroom is called Lingzhi and has been considered an adaptogenic mushroom for about 2000 years. Adaptogenic means that a substance supports the body's natural ability to adapt and helps maintain internal balance, also known as homeostasis.

In modern times, supplements are essentially a continuation of this ancient use of the lingzhi reishi mushroom, but in a more concentrated and standardized form.

Traditional cultivation conditions, modern quality control
Our reishi is cultivated as it was originally intended: on natural wood in the Chinese highlands. The reishi mushrooms come from Qinyuan County in Zhejiang province (China) and are 100% cultivated on duan wood, such as linden and beech wood.

Cultivation is sustainable and controlled, completely free from wild harvesting. This way, we combine traditional origin and growth conditions with the quality, purity, and reliability you expect from a modern reishi mushroom supplement.

Made from 100% fruiting body of Reishi Ganoderma lucidum
This supplement is made from 100% fruiting body of Reishi Ganoderma lucidum, the most concentrated and valuable part of the reishi mushroom. This part naturally contains the most important bioactive compounds, such as polysaccharides and triterpenes.

No mycelium or carriers are used. You only get the pure extract of the fruiting body.

Two Reishi extracts for a high concentration of active ingredients
To further increase the concentration of active ingredients, a combination of two high-quality reishi extracts has been chosen. The unique combination of a duo extract (33:1) and a classic extract (14:1) creates a powerful and broadly composed extract profile.

The extraction ratio indicates how many grams of reishi are used for one gram of extract. For the 33:1 extract, 33 grams of reishi are used, and for the 14:1 extract, 14 grams. This results in a highly concentrated form, rich in bioactive compounds.

A conscious choice was made for extracts and not for raw ground reishi powder. Extraction ensures that the valuable components are concentrated from the mushroom, resulting in a higher concentration of bioactive compounds per capsule and consistent quality.

Standardized for polysaccharides, beta-glucans, and triterpenes
This reishi supplement is carefully standardized for polysaccharides, beta-glucans, and triterpenes. Standardization means that each batch is checked for fixed levels of active ingredients, so you can count on a constant dosage of bioactive compounds per capsule, without fluctuations in quality.

Per dose, this supplement provides 150 mg of polysaccharides, 12.5 mg of beta-glucans (1,3/1,6), supplemented with 20 mg of triterpenes.

Advanced extraction processes for optimal effect
For this supplement, two complementary extraction methods have been chosen to create the most complete possible bioactive spectrum.

The dual extract (33:1) is obtained via a combination of hot water and alcohol extraction. This method makes it possible to concentrate both water-soluble and fat-soluble components from the reishi mushroom. The reishi is extracted around the boiling point in carefully controlled steps, with the aim of efficiently releasing the main bioactive compounds while protecting them as much as possible.

In addition, a classic extract (14:1) is used, obtained via triple water extraction, which specifically further concentrates the valuable water-soluble fraction.

After extraction, the liquid extracts are converted into a fine powder using spray drying at high inlet air temperatures. During this process, the actual product temperature remains lower due to evaporation, so that sensitive bioactive compounds are preserved as much as possible.

The effect of Reishi
The result of the above production process is a stable, easily dosable reishi extract with a powerful concentration and a rich, balanced profile of bioactive compounds. These carefully preserved and concentrated bioactive compounds form the basis for the application of reishi.
