The Multi Dag Mama formula is formulated to provide extra nutrients for the mother's health, but especially for her baby. The needs of women who are trying to conceive, are expecting, or are breastfeeding are simply different.
When the Multi Day Mama is used in combination with the Multi Night Mama, the biorhythm is also taken into account. This is the most efficient and innovative application of a Multi.
The Day Formula contains Quatrefolic® 600 mcg, a superior form of folic acid. This naturally occurring and active form of folic acid (5-methyltetrahydrofolate) is bound to (plant-based) glucosamine salt. This is the absolute best and most stable form of 5-MTHF, the active form of folic acid, with the highest possible bioavailability. The Multi Day Mama also contains extra choline, a must-have during pregnancy. Choline is present in all tissues as an essential component of phospholipids. Choline is important for healthy fetal development. The Multi Day Mama also contains active forms of various B vitamins. The B12 even contains two types of the active form, both methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. To meet the increased iron needs, we opted for the easily absorbable and stomach-friendly iron bisglycinate at a dosage of 25 mg, and the Multi Night Mama contains an additional 15 mg. Extra biotin has been added on the advice of the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority).
Both Multi Day Mama and Multi Night Mama contain extra magnesium, specifically in the beneficial compounds bisglycinate and citrate. Other minerals beneficial for pregnant women can be found in Multi Night Mama. In addition to meeting the additional needs of pregnant and breastfeeding women, Multi Day Mama also takes into account their biorhythm. The vitamins, minerals, and other substances the body requires during the day are significantly different from its nutrient requirements at night.
