Glucose, or blood sugar, is our body's natural fuel. We obtain this fuel by breaking down carbohydrates from food, after which our body transports the acquired energy to where it's needed. Best absorbable form of chromium picolinate
Chromium picolinate is the bioavailable and organically bound form of chromium. Compared to chromium chloride, for example, of which our bodies absorb a maximum of 0.4 percent, we absorb up to 5.2 percent of the picolate molecule. For comparison, at a dose of 200 mcg, our bodies retain only 0.8 mg of elemental chromium from the chloride compound. At the same dose of chromium picolinate, our bodies absorb a whopping 10.4 mg of elemental chromium. This may seem like a small difference, but it represents thirteen times better absorption!
