Shilajit is a thick, sticky substance that naturally oozes from rocks in mountainous regions, especially in the Himalayas, Altai, Caucasus, and Andes. It originates from the slow breakdown of plant material under high pressure and temperature over thousands of years.
Composition:
Shilajit extract (150 mg), standardized to 40% fulvic acid. Fulvic acid is a component of humus. Humus consists of many organic compounds found in soil, rock sediments, and natural waterways. Fulvic acid is formed by the gradual decomposition of plant material by microorganisms. It contains a range of nutrients, minerals and trace elements, electrolytes, silica, and pre- and probiotics. Fulvic acid has high bioavailability in the body, partly due to its high alkaline pH.
