What is this medicine used for?
For moisturizing the eyes.
Directions for use
Twist the cap off the ampoule. Tilt your head back and hold the tip of the ampoule above the eye to be treated. Pull down your lower eyelid with your index finger. Squeeze the ampoule, and a drop of Vismed will easily flow out. Unless otherwise advised, instill one or two drops of Vismed into your eye as often as needed. Blinking will spread the solution and form a clear, long-lasting layer on the surface of the eye. Vismed can also be used while wearing contact lenses (hard or soft).
Contraindications
Individual hypersensitivity to any component of this product.
Ingredients
1ml solution contains sodium hyaluronate 1.8 mg, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium phosphate, sodium citrate, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, and water for injections.
Warnings
Do not use vismed simultaneously with a medication or other product that must be administered into the eye, as this may affect their effect. Do not touch the tip of the opened ampoule. Do not touch the surface of the eye with the tip of the opened ampoule. Solutions not used immediately after opening the package must be discarded. Otherwise, sterility is no longer guaranteed and there is an increased risk of infection. Do not use vismed if the ampoule is damaged.
Storage advice
Store at temperatures between 2°C and 25 °C!
Keep out of reach of children.
