The barbs in the tick's mouth offer resistance when the tick is pulled. Twisting the tick reduces the resistance considerably. Removing a tick is quick and safe with the Trix Tick Lasso, which automatically grasps the tick correctly without pinching the tick's abdomen.
This reduces the risk of bacterial substances being released.

Usage
Using the button, push the lasso outwards and place it over the tick as close to the skin as possible.
Release the button and lift the pen
Hold the green tip of the tick lasso against the skin and rotate the tick lasso one turn
Disinfect the bite site
If the tick is small (0.4-2 mm), the point should be kept pressed into the skin close to the tick during removal.
Never use fire to kill the tick, it may explode and/or melt the lasso.
The Trix tick lasso can be disinfected with alcohol.
