This step is essential to restore the pH value of the hair and close the cuticle. This prevents colour fading and gives the hair its natural shine and feel.

Warnings
We don't want to alarm you, but it's important to know that hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions.
Read the safety instructions and carefully follow the directions for use.
Perform a skin sensitivity test 48 hours before colouring your hair.
Even if you perform a sensitivity test, you may still experience an allergic reaction when colouring your hair. Unfortunately, the sensitivity test is not a guarantee to avoid future allergic reactions.
If you have temporary "black henna" tattoos, these may increase your risk of an allergic reaction to hair colourants.
This product is not intended for use on persons under 16 years of age.
Please do not colour your hair if:
- you have a rash on your face or a sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp.
- you have ever experienced a reaction after colouring your hair.
- you have experienced a reaction to a temporary "black henna" tattoo in the past.
This product contains phenylenediamine (PPD). Contains hydrogen peroxide.
And finally:
Do not use for colouring eyelashes and eyebrows. Wear suitable gloves. Rinse hair thoroughly after use. Avoid contact with ears and face. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately. If irritation persists, seek medical advice. Unscrew the tip of the applicator bottle immediately after mixing to prevent the bottle from bursting and the product from causing damage when flowing out of the bottle. Mixed colour cannot be stored.

Seek medical attention if you experience itching, burning, rash, or an allergic reaction. Contact the manufacturer and/or the relevant national authority if you experience allergic and/or other reactions.
Before you start:
Skin sensitivity test
Although this hair colourant has a very, very gentle formula for hair and skin, you should always perform a sensitivity test 48 hours before use.
For testing, you do not need to mix the Colour Gel and Colourfix.
Wash and dry a small patch of skin: the inside of your elbow is a good spot. Rub a small amount of colour gel onto your freshly washed and dried skin. If you are using several colours together, you should use the darkest colour (or the lowest number).
Once the colour gel has dried, you can cover it with a plaster or leave it uncovered. If you see a reaction (redness, pain, irritation, or a burning sensation), you should immediately rinse the test area of your skin.
After 2 hours, rinse off the rest of the colour gel and carefully monitor the test area for the next 48 hours for a possible reaction.
If you experience a reaction, do not use the product on your hair, and if your skin continues to feel painful and irritated, consult a doctor or pharmacist for medical advice.
Storage advice
Keep out of reach of children.
Store in a cool place away from light or heat.
Keep the packaging for a few days in case you experience a reaction.
