In the 1970s, Eric White paved the way for the Australian tea tree oil industry. He realized his dream in the flooded, sometimes bone-dry, wetlands of Bugawalbyn, located in northern New South Wales. After years of hard work, diligent research, and lobbying, he signed the lease. Thus, Thursday Plantation was born on this Thursday in 1976.
The first bottles of Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil were sold at the local market. With only a kerosene lamp and candles for light, the bottles were filled by hand and the labels lovingly hand-drawn. The magic of Tea Tree Oil can now be found in millions of homes worldwide.
Tea tree oil is known for its purifying, cleansing, and healing properties in treating the skin. The oil cleanses deeply, is colorless, and doesn't sting. It can also be used to soothe discomfort after eating insects. A must-have in any medicine cabinet or travel kit.
