What is this medicine used for?
ThermaCare® for neck and shoulders is particularly suitable for the treatment of pain caused by tension or overload in muscles and joints.

Directions for use
Open the pouch just before use. Opening the pouch exposes the product to the air and activates the heat cells.

After approximately 30 minutes, the therapeutic temperature of approximately 40°C is reached.

Make sure your skin is clean and dry before applying the product. Remove the adhesive backing and apply the product.

Hold the product with both hands and place it on the desired painful area. Press the adhesive side to ensure proper adhesion.

Contraindications
Do not use ThermaCare® on broken or damaged skin, on skin with abrasions or swelling that has occurred within the past 48 hours, or on parts of the body that are insensitive to heat. Consult your doctor before use if you have diabetes, poor circulation, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, or if you are pregnant. Do not use ThermaCare® with muscle pain creams, medicated ointments, or other heat sources. The risk of burns increases with age. If you are 55 or older, it is recommended that you use ThermaCare® over a light layer of clothing and not while sleeping. Stop using the product and consult your doctor if your pain worsens or remains the same after 7 days.

Warnings
Heat products can cause irritation or burns. To reduce this risk, we recommend checking your skin regularly. If you detect any, discontinue use immediately.

If you are 55 or older, you should wear Thermacare over clothing and not use it while sleeping. Do not use a thermal product on the same body part for more than 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
To avoid increased risk of burns, remove product before an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan.
