Usage
Prepare the plastic pouch containing the test. If the test was stored in the refrigerator, it must be brought to room temperature before use.
To collect the urine, you will need a glass or cup.
This should be clean and dry, and free of detergent residue. You'll also need a stopwatch or watch.
Taking a urine sample:
Ask the person to be tested to provide a urine sample (urinate into the cup)
Execution of the test:
Remove the test cassettes and pipette from the pouch. You can dispose of the empty plastic pouch and the desiccant bag with your regular household waste. Start testing immediately after opening the pouch.
Place the cassette on a flat surface and take a moment to look at the test cassette carefully.
Dip the tip of the pipette into the urine and draw up a small amount of urine up to the line on the pipette.
Now, place 3-4 drops of urine into the round opening of the test cassette. Immediately after placing the drops, start the stopwatch or watch. You will now see the red liquid slowly move from right to left across the result window.
Read the result after 5 minutes. Reading after 5 minutes is also possible, but only after 15 minutes. Reading after 15 minutes may yield unreliable results.
