Cocaine (COC) (Metabolite = breakdown product = Benzoylecgonine)
This test detects the presence of benzoylecgonine in urine. Benzoylecgonine is a metabolite (breakdown product) of cocaine.
Cocaine is extracted from the leaves of the coca plant. Cocaine use can induce euphoria, increased self-confidence, and even a sense of superhuman power. It also leads to a rapid pulse, dilated pupils, fever, muscle twitching, and sweating. Benzoylecgonine can be detected in urine for 24 to 60 hours after cocaine use.
How reliable is the test?
Clinical studies show that the Testjezelf.nu drug tests are highly reliable. This will certainly be demonstrated in urine samples with levels above the critical threshold. The critical threshold at which the T test line begins to disappear is 300 ng/ml. This low threshold can even detect minor cocaine use.
How long is cocaine (benzoylecgonine) detectable in urine?
Benzoylecgonine is rapidly broken down by the body and is detectable in urine for approximately 1-4 days. Factors such as body weight and level of tolerance can influence this time. The test is highly sensitive and detects a relatively low concentration (300 ng/ml) in urine. These tests are supplied in packs of 6, allowing you to monitor drug use and appointments over a longer period.

Usage
Prepare the plastic pouch containing the test. If the test was stored in the refrigerator, it must be brought to room temperature before use.
To collect the urine, you will need a glass or cup.
This should be clean and dry and free of detergent residue. You'll also need a stopwatch or watch.
Taking a urine sample:
Ask the person to be tested to provide a urine sample (urinate into the cup)
Execution of the test:
Remove the test cassettes and pipette from the pouch. The empty plastic pouch and desiccant bag can be disposed of with regular household waste. Start testing immediately after opening the pouch.
Place the cassette on a flat surface and take a moment to look at the test cassette carefully.
Dip the tip of the pipette into the urine and draw up a small amount of urine up to the line on the pipette.
Now, place 3-4 drops of urine into the round opening of the test cassette. Immediately after placing the drops, start the stopwatch or watch. You will now see the red liquid slowly move from right to left across the result window.
Read the result after 5 minutes. Reading after 5 minutes is also possible, but only after 15 minutes. Reading after 15 minutes may yield unreliable results.
