Tamari Japanese gluten-free organic Tamari is a powerful, gluten-free Japanese soy sauce made from soybeans and koji (a unique Japanese fungus). Our tamari is made authentically by true Japanese connoisseurs and requires a full 12 months of fermentation in 100-year-old cedarwood barrels. Tamari's flavor is wonderfully complex and encompasses all five flavors: salty, sour, sweet, bitter, and umami. This Japanese soy sauce truly elevates any dish: (miso) soups, noodle dishes, marinades, sushi, and even mashed potatoes! Video: How they make our tamari.
Ingredients SOY beans*, water, sea salt, shochu salted* (water, rice*, salt, koji ferment), koji ferment.
