Sushi nori is, of course, primarily intended for making sushi rolls. But you certainly don't have to just roll rice in it; you can also make Vietnamese summer rolls, a Mediterranean version (with hummus), or a low-carb version (with mashed avocado, sprouts, and other fresh greens). This sushi nori is certified organic, which is quite remarkable. Obtaining organic certification for a natural product like seaweed requires considerable effort. There are many requirements regarding the management and harvesting of the seaweed, as well as the use and treatment of the water in which it grows.

Usage
Use for sushi rolls or cut into pieces and add to your soup or noodles. Here's how to make sushi rolls:

Place a nori sheet with the shiny side down on your sushi mat.
Cover with a thin layer of cooled sushi rice. Leave a 5 cm horizontal gap at the top of the sheet.
Place the filling in a horizontal strip down the center of the sheet.
Using the sushi mat, roll it tightly, keeping the vegetables in the center. Roll upwards so that the exposed nori sheet is facing away from you.
Wet the exposed part of the sheet with a little water so that it stays sealed properly.
Remove the roll from the bamboo mat. Cut it into 6-8 pieces with a slightly damp, sharp knife.

After opening, store airtight in a dry, dark place at room temperature (max 20 °C).
