Shiitake koshin organic
Shiitake koshin is a dried mushroom with a thin, open cap. Mushrooms thrive in Japan thanks to the humid climate and numerous mountains. Numerous varieties can be found in the country, but shiitake is the best-known and most widely used mushroom in Japan. It's delicious as a base for miso soup or to add an umami flavor to your meat or vegetable dish.

Usage
Soak the shiitake mushrooms in cold water for at least 30 minutes. Then briefly sauté the mushrooms or cook them with (miso) soup or other (rice and noodle) dishes. The soaking water can also be used.
