Sengiri daikon organic
Daikon is a type of white root. Sengiri is Japanese for "cut into strips." Sengiri daikon is sun-dried. This drying process only occurs when there's a cold wind, so it preserves its original sweet, mild flavor. Sengiri daikon is delicious in sushi, miso soup, or seaweed salads.

Usage
Soak the daikon for about 10 minutes before using. Briefly sauté the drained strips in oil, add the soaking water, and simmer for about 10 minutes. Season with shoyu, rice vinegar, mirin, and ginger (optional). Combine with other (root) vegetables.
