This organic quinoa comes from Dutch soil. And that is special, because it means the indigenous people in Peru and Bolivia do not have to suffer from the enormous demand for (sustainable) quinoa. With whole grain quinoa, the husk is still around the grain. This provides extra fiber and a crunchy bite. Quinoa contains more protein than other grains and is gluten-free. Delicious in a salad, in a vegan buddha bowl, or as a nutritious breakfast.

Tip: Cook with a miso vegetable bouillon cube for extra flavor.

Use
Bring 1 cup of quinoa to a boil in 1.5 cups of water. Cook the quinoa in a covered pan over low heat for 15 minutes until done.
