Amazake is a Japanese sweetener often used in baked goods and desserts. It's made from millet, koji (a unique Japanese mold), water, and salt. It's a delicious, gluten- and lactose-free cream with both a sweet and umami flavor. Are you vegan, lactose- or gluten-intolerant? With amazake, you can replace butter, eggs, sugar, and milk. Because of the millet, millet stama baker is the least sweet of the three.
