Is it possible to heal with only your thoughts - without medication or surgery? The truth is, this happens more often than you might expect.
In You Are the Placebo, Dr. Joe Dispenza discusses numerous documented cases of people who reversed heart disease, depression, rheumatoid arthritis, and even Parkinson's disease by believing in a placebo.
Dr. Joe also tells the stories of other people who, for the same reason, became ill and even died, such as victims of a voodoo curse or of an erroneous medical diagnosis of a fatal illness.
Dr. Joe also asks the question: Is it possible to teach people the principles of the placebo and, without using an external remedy, bring about the same inner changes in their health condition and finally in their lives?
He discusses scientific evidence (including full-color brain scan images) of remarkable healings during his workshops where participants learn his model of personal transformation based on practical applications of the "placebo effect."
The book ends with a guided meditation to change the beliefs and perceptions that limit you - the first step in healing.
You Are the Placebo combines the latest research in neuroscience, biology, psychology, hypnosis, conditioned behavior, and quantum physics to unravel the workings of the placebo effect ... and shows how the seemingly impossible can become possible.
