Stevia Sweetener Powder is steviol glycosides* (*extract from the stevia plant) enriched with inulin, a highly soluble fiber naturally found in chicory, agave, fruits, and vegetables. Thanks to the addition of inulin, this sweetener is a perfect alternative to powdered sugar, containing 90% fiber. This fiber contributes to healthy intestinal flora. Moreover, Stevia Sweetener Powder is easy to measure: a quarter teaspoon is equivalent to one teaspoon of sugar. The sweetness of stevia in Stevia Sweetener Powder is even more pronounced during baking, allowing you to use it sparingly. One jar of Stevia Sweetener Powder is enough for baking about 10 cakes.
Thanks to the inulin, Stevia Sweetener has similar preservative properties to sugar. The sweetness of Sweetener relative to sugar ranges from 1:4 to 1:12 (the more sugar you replace, the less Sweetener you need). The glycemic index of Stevia Sweetener is only 14 (GI=14), indicating minimal impact on blood sugar levels.
