Springfield Macuvite Macuvite is a unique nutritional supplement containing two special substances: lutein and zeaxanthin. In recent years, it has become known that specific fruits and vegetables contain substances beneficial for the eyes. Corn, spinach, and orange peppers, as well as egg yolks, are particularly rich in the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin. These substances are found in high concentrations in the eye.
Macuvite Zeaxanthin and Lutein contains a readily absorbable source of both substances, derived from Tagetes erecta (marigold) extract. Zeaxanthin and lutein have a synergistic effect.
