Soria Natural's cod liver oil is derived from cod liver. Cod liver oil is a fatty oil containing iodine, phosphorus, and vitamins A and D.
In addition, cod liver oil also contains essential fish fatty acids.

In the past, cod liver oil wasn't pure and had a dark color, a rancid taste, and a rotten fishy odor. Plenty of reason for disgust and grimaces. Nowadays, however, there's also pure cod liver oil; a colorless or pale yellow oil with a slightly fishy but not rancid taste and odor. So, you don't have to worry about the taste.
