Usage
These stockings are very suitable for: - preventing deep vein thrombosis (also traveler's thrombosis) - preventing and relieving varices (varicose veins) - support for sprained ankles - preventing tired legs (standing professions)

Instructions for use
Fitting the stockings: Measure your ankle circumference approximately 2 cm above the ankle bone. Choose the stocking with the ankle circumference that matches your measurement. If you use the SolvaCare measuring tape, the color corresponding to your ankle circumference also indicates the color coding of the stocking. If your calf is very thick in relation to your ankle, we advise you to take 1 size larger. Putting on the stocking Step 1: Reach into the stocking up to the heel piece. Grasp the heel piece and turn the stocking inside out up to the heel piece. Step 2: Place the stocking over the foot, ensuring that the dark part of the heel piece is under the heel. Step 3: Grasp the remaining part of the stocking that is still inside out between your thumb and fingers, and gently pull it up over the ankle and calf. Step 4: Ensure that the stocking fits smoothly against the skin and that the band at the top of the stocking is not folded over. Make sure that the top of the stocking ends two fingers below the hollow of the knee. This is important to ensure good circulation. Taking off the stocking: Step 1: Simply grasp the top of the stocking and pull it gently but firmly down over the calf, ankle, and foot. Be extra careful with wounds or fragile skin. Be careful with sharp nails, and do not pull down hard with just 2 fingers. This could tear the stocking. Step 2: If necessary, place your thumbs next to the Achilles tendon under the stocking to easily get it over your heel. SolvaCare compression stockings are most effective in supporting blood circulation when they are properly fitted. How do you check that? Pay close attention to the following instructions: Ensure the stocking fits well and smoothly over the entire lower leg. Ensure that the dark-colored heel piece fits snugly under the heel. Ensure that the top edge of the stocking is not folded over. The top edge of the stocking should end two fingers below the hollow of the knee. SolvaCare compression stockings are elastic in both width and length. People with long lower legs can pull the stocking further up. To do this, make rotating movements with your hands (as if you are turning a steering wheel back and forth) while putting on the stocking, and the fabric will give way. This has no effect on the pressure profile and the function of the stocking. Washing instructions The stockings can be machine washed at a maximum of 75 ºC. The effective compression profile is guaranteed for up to 15 washes. Machine drying of the stockings will shorten their lifespan. It is best to dry the stockings on a clothesline or drying rack. Do not hang the stockings over a heater or other heat source to dry.
