Solvacare Compression stocking beige L 26 - 29 cm

SolvaCare compression stocking

The decreasing pressure from ankle to calf helps the flow of venous blood back to the heart and lungs.
- Helps prevent deep vein thrombosis
- Provides support for varicose veins and sprains
- Effective against tired legs

What is this medicine used for?
These socks are very suitable for:

- prevention of deep vein thrombosis (also traveler's thrombosis)
- prevention and relief of varicose veins
- support for sprained ankles
- prevention of tired legs (standing professions)

Directions for use
Fitting the stockings: Measure your ankle circumference approximately 2 cm above your anklebone. Choose the stocking with the ankle circumference that best suits your measurements. If you use the SolvaCare measuring tape, the color corresponding to your ankle circumference will also indicate the stocking's color coding. If your calf is very large in relation to your ankle, we recommend choosing one size larger.

Putting on the stocking

Step 1:
Insert your hand into the stocking up to the heel. Grasp the heel and turn the stocking inside out until the heel

Step 2:
Place the stocking over the foot, making sure that the dark part of the heel piece ends up under the heel.

Step 3:
Take the remaining part of the stocking that is still inside out between your thumb and fingers and gently pull it up over the ankle and calf.

Step 4:
Make sure the stocking fits smoothly against the skin and that the band at the top of the stocking isn't folded over. Ensure the top of the stocking ends two finger-widths below the back of your knee. This is important to ensure good circulation.

Removing the stocking:

Step 1:
Simply grasp the top of the stocking and pull it gently but firmly down over your calf, ankle, and foot. Be extra careful around wounds or fragile skin. Be careful with sharp nails, and don't pull down hard with just two fingers. This could tear the stocking.

Step 2:
If necessary, place your thumbs next to the Achilles tendon under the stocking to make it easier to get it over your heel.

SolvaCare compression stockings are most effective at supporting blood circulation when they are properly fitted. How do you check this? Pay close attention to the following instructions:

Make sure that the stocking fits snugly and smoothly over the entire lower leg.
Make sure that the dark colored heel piece fits snugly under the heel.
Make sure the top edge of the stocking is not folded over.
The top edge of the stocking should end two finger lengths below the hollow of the knee.
SolvaCare compression stockings are elastic both widthwise and lengthwise. People with long lower legs can pull the stockings up further. To do this, make circular motions with your hands (as if turning a steering wheel back and forth) while putting the stocking on, and the fabric will give.
This has no effect on the pressure profile and functioning of the stocking.

Washing instructions
The socks are machine washable at a maximum temperature of 75°C. Their effective compression profile is guaranteed for up to 15 washes.
Machine drying your socks will shorten their lifespan. It's best to dry them on a clothesline or drying rack.
Do not hang the stockings over a radiator or other heat source to dry.
