SHUSH hearing protection has been tested by PZT GmbH, Bismarckstrasse 264B, 26389 WILHELMSHAVEN, GERMANY (notified body number: 1974) according to the following standards: EN 352-2:2020 (Europe), ANSI S3.19-1974 (USA), CSA Z94.2-02 (Canada) and AS/NZS 1270:2002 (Australia / New Zealand). SHUSH hearing protection is certified in accordance with European Regulation (EU) 2016/425 PPE. Product control according to module C2 is carried out annually by PZT.

SHUSH earplugs are made of recyclable, hypoallergenic, and silicone-free synthetic rubber (TPE) and contain no toxic or hazardous substances. The properties of this material ensure an exceptionally long lifespan (365+ days) and durability. The filter is made of durable ceramic material (zirconium oxide). The storage case is made of high-quality aluminum with a rubber ring. The packaging is made of FSC certified cardboard.

They are used by metalworkers, carpenters, production workers, mechanics, road workers, gardeners, and ground staff at airports.
Instructions for use
Before use, check that the Shush earplugs are clean. Shush earplugs come in one universal size, and there is no difference between left and right.
Insertion (Image 1)
1. Grasp the Shush earplugs by the stem. Use the hand on the same side as the ear you want to insert the earplug into.
2. Use your other hand to pull the top of the auricle slightly upwards to open the ear canal better.
3. Gently slide the earplugs into the ear canal with an upward motion.
4. Release the auricle and, if necessary, push the earplug in a little further until it seals comfortably.
SHUSH earplugs offer the best protection when inserted before entering an environment or area with excessive noise. This ensures the best sound experience. Then wear them continuously and only remove them from your ears when you have left the noisy environment or area.
Removal
Twist the earplug or move your auricle backward. This will slightly loosen the earplug, allowing you to easily remove it from your ear.
Shush is designed with a three-layer mushroom shape. If you have a narrow ear canal, it is sufficient to insert the earplugs only to the first layer. If you have a wide ear canal, the earplugs will fit completely into the ear, up to the third layer. Every ear is different; ears have various shapes and sizes. Of course, there are exceptions of ear canals that are too small or too wide for a universal size. SHUSH Earplugs fit 99.9% of all ears.
If you have a wide ear canal, be careful when inserting the earplugs for the first time. Make sure you don't push them too far or too deep into your ear canal. It may be difficult to remove the earplugs from your ears, or it may even be necessary to use tweezers.

Warnings
• SHUSH earplugs only provide optimal protection when inserted correctly and kept clean. Make sure to follow the steps in these instructions for use carefully.
• Do not remove the filter from the SHUSH earplugs. Without the filter, your hearing will not be protected.
• Do not use in an inflamed ear.
• After use, always remove the earplugs from your ears with a slow motion. Pulling the earplugs out of your ear too hard or too quickly can damage the eardrum. Make sure to follow the steps in these instructions for use carefully.
• Do not swallow. Not for internal use, except in the ear canal.
• Keep out of reach of children due to choking/suffocation hazard.
• If the material of SHUSH earplugs tears or breaks, they should no longer be used as they may no longer properly seal your ear. The earplug should then be replaced as soon as possible.
• Contact with certain chemical substances can cause the earplugs to deteriorate more quickly. Therefore, always store them clean and dry – in the supplied aluminum storage case – so that dirt cannot affect the earplugs.
• If the instructions for use are not followed correctly, the protective effect may be negatively affected. In this case, SHUSH accepts no responsibility for the possible consequences.
• Hearing protection must be worn continuously in environments with excessive noise.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
For good hygiene in the ear canal, it is important to clean the earplugs after use and store them dry in the supplied aluminum case. Shush is easy to clean with soap and water. With daily use, the earplugs will last for years.
