SHUSH hearing protection has been tested by PZT GmbH, Bismarckstrasse 264B, 26389 WILHELMSHAVEN, GERMANY (notified body number: 1974) in accordance with the following standards: EN 352-2:2020 (Europe), ANSI S3.19-1974 (US), CSA Z94.2-02 (Canada) and AS/NZS 1270:2002 (Australia / New Zealand). SHUSH hearing protection is certified in conformity with European regulation (EU) 2016/425 PPE. Product control according to module C2 is carried out annually by PZT.

Instructions for use
Check that the Shush earplugs are clean before use. Shush earplugs are supplied in one universal size, and there is no difference between left and right.
Insertion (Image 1)
1. Grasp the Shush earplugs by the stem. Use the hand on the same side as the ear where you want to insert the earplug.
2. Use your other hand to pull the top of the auricle slightly upwards to open the ear canal better.
3. Gently slide the earplugs into the ear canal with an upward motion.
4. Release the auricle and, if necessary, press the earplug a little further until it seals comfortably enough.
SHUSH earplugs offer the best protection when you insert them before entering an environment or room with too much noise. This ensures the best sound experience. Then wear them without interruption and only remove them from your ears when you have left the environment or room with too much noise.
Removal
Twist the earplug or move your auricle backwards. This causes the earplug to loosen slightly, allowing you to easily remove it from the ear.
Shush is designed with a three-layer mushroom shape.
If you have a narrow ear canal, it is sufficient to insert the
earplugs up to the first layer. If you have a wide
ear canal, the earplugs fit completely into the ear, up to the third layer. Every ear is different; ears have
different shapes and sizes. Of course, there are exceptions of ear canals that are too small or too wide for a
universal size. SHUSH Earplugs fit 99.9% of all ears.
If you have a wide ear canal, be careful when inserting the earplugs for the first time. Make sure you don't push them too far or too deep into your ear canal. It may then be difficult to retrieve the earplugs from your ears, or it may even be necessary to use tweezers.

Warnings
• SHUSH earplugs only protect optimally when correctly inserted and kept clean. Make sure you follow the steps in these instructions for use carefully.
• Do not remove the filter from the SHUSH earplugs. Without the filter, your hearing will not be protected.
• Do not use in an inflamed ear.
• After use, always remove the earplugs from your ears with a slow movement. Pulling the earplugs out of your ear too hard or too fast can damage the eardrum. Make sure you follow the steps in these instructions for use carefully.
• Do not swallow. Not for internal use, except in the ear canal.
• Keep out of reach of children due to the risk of choking/suffocation.
• If the material of SHUSH earplugs tears or breaks, they should no longer be used as they may no longer properly seal your ear. The earplug must then be replaced as soon as possible.
• Contact with certain chemicals can cause the earplugs to degrade faster. Therefore, always store them clean and dry - in the supplied aluminum storage case - so that dirt cannot affect the earplugs.
• If the instructions for use are not followed correctly, the protective effect may be negatively affected. In this case, SHUSH accepts no responsibility for the possible consequences.
• Hearing protection must be worn continuously in environments with too much noise.
Storage advice
Store your earplugs clean and dry in the aluminum storage case. For good ear hygiene. Use it as a keychain so you always have it at hand.
For good hygiene in the ear canal, it is important to clean the earplugs after use and store them dry in the supplied aluminum case. Shush is easy to clean with soap and water. With daily use, the earplugs will last for years.
