Dr. Scholl's Ingrown Toenail Pain Relieving Strips

Dr. Scholl's Ingrown Toenail Pain Relieving Strips are fabric adhesive plasters with a polyurethane cushion in the centre. This cushion features a raised edge in the middle, which gently separates the ingrown toenail from the skin, thereby reducing pressure on the surrounding skin and providing instant pain relief. Additionally, the polyurethane cushion provides cushioning, relieves pressure, and minimises discomfort.

Usage
Dr. Scholl's Ingrown Toenail Pain Relieving Strip separates the ingrown nail from the skin, reduces pressure, and provides instant relief, while the cushion offers extra padding.

Directions for Use
1. Clean and dry the toenail thoroughly before application. 2. Carefully pull the paper sachet and remove the plaster from the sachet. 3. Observe which end of the soft cushion is shorter from the raised edge in the centre. Carefully tear along the perforated line to partially remove this side of the plaster from its protective liner. 4. Place the raised edge into the groove between the toenail and the sore skin, ensuring the shorter end of the soft cushion covers the sore skin. Gently wrap this side of the tape around the toe to hold the strip in place. Leave a gap between the strip and the skin at the base of the nail. 5. Remove the remainder of the protective liner and position the longer end of the soft cushion over the toenail, ensuring the raised edge remains in the correct position. 6. Gently wrap the tape around the toe to fully secure the strip, again ensuring there is a gap between the strip and the skin at the nail base. 7. Remove the strip before bed and apply a new plaster each morning or after showering or bathing.

Warnings
• Excessive pressure during application may cause toenail pain or discomfort.
• The plaster is not waterproof. The plaster must be removed before showering or swimming.
• If the toenail develops an infection, consult your doctor.

Additional Information
Ingrown Toenail Pain Relieving Strips: Read the instructions for use thoroughly before using the product. Keep the instructions for use as you may need to read them again.

WHAT IS AN INGROWN TOENAIL? An ingrown toenail occurs when the toenail grows into the skin, particularly the edge or corner of the big toes. Ingrown toenails can occur due to improper nail trimming, wearing shoes that are too tight, or an injury to the foot. Signs of an ingrown toenail include pain, redness, swelling, and in some cases, infection. If an ingrown toenail is left untreated, it can become infected and develop pus, increased swelling, and tenderness.

HOW DO THE INGROWN TOENAIL PAIN RELIEVING STRIPS WORK? Dr. Scholl's Ingrown Toenail Pain Relieving Strips are fabric adhesive plasters with a polyurethane cushion in the centre. This cushion contains a raised edge in the middle, which should be placed between the toenail and the toe. This edge gently separates the ingrown toenail from the skin, thereby reducing pressure on the surrounding tissue and providing instant pain relief as the nail grows. Additionally, the polyurethane cushion provides cushioning, relieves pressure, and minimises discomfort.
