Instructions for use
To turn on the thermometer, press the I/O button. A beep indicates that the thermometer is on. Simultaneously, a segment test (checking all segments on the display and an intensive function test) followsThen, if the sensor temperature is less than 32°C, an L and C will flash. The L stands for low (lower than 32°C).During the measurement, the current temperature is continuously shown and C flashes throughout the entire measurement time. The measurement is completed after approximately 6 seconds. For oral or rectal measurement, the final temperature is displayed approximately after 60 seconds, from which point the temperature changes only slightly. However, for the axillary measurement method, a measurement duration of 5 to 10 minutes should be maintained. The signal tone may sound repeatedly. Because the contact between the temperature sensor and the armpit is poorer than with oral and rectal measurement, the temperature rise is slower, leading to this effect.After measurement, the measured temperature remains on the display until the thermometer is switched off. After use, switch off the device by briefly pressing the I/O button. You will hear the signal tone again. If the device is not switched off, the signal tone will sound after approximately 8 minutes and the device will switch off automatically.
