Cacaopoeder wordt bekomen uit het zaad van de Theobroma cacao, een kleine groenblijvende boom die groeit in tropische klimaten. Cacao bevat van nature tal van uitzonderlijke voedingsstoffen en fytonutriënten en werd lange tijd onderschat vanwege het vet en de suiker die bewerkte cacao (chocolade) bevat.

Gebruik
Voeg 15 g cacao poeder toe aan 300 ml rijst- of haverdrank. Voor een verrassend effect voeg je een schepje cacao poeder toe aan lattés, cake of muffins.
