Hojicha is a roasted Japanese green tea. Its specific roasted aroma provides a subtly sweet and nutty taste. Unlike other teas, Hojicha contains very little caffeine, making it an excellent evening tea.

For this unique tea, use water that is a maximum of 80°C and let it steep for about 2-3 minutes. For a fresher taste, steep the tea for a short time; for a more complex taste where all the aromas come into their own, steep the tea a little longer.

Use
Mix 5 g or portion as desired in 70-100 ml non-boiling water or mix 5 g in 200 ml milk, soy or rice drink. Can be drunk cold or warm.
