Proviform's omega 3 products contain anchovy, mackerel and/or cod. These are fish that have a shorter lifespan than many other species. The advantage is that they accumulate less contamination during that time than longer-lived fish. Proviform fish oil is purified by steam and molecular distillation. Both methods very effectively remove all toxins, such as heavy metals, PCBs and dioxins. The quality of the fish oil extract remains intact and the EPA and DHA content remains high. The result: a highly concentrated omega 3 product of great purity.
