Ester-C®
Ester-C® Bio is milder for the stomach than regular vitamin C. It also remains active longer in the body and is absorbed faster and better. Ester-C® Bio is bound to calcium. This means
it contains a pH-neutral form of vitamin C, which prevents irritation. Ester-C® Bio is immediately fat-soluble. This allows the body to use this vitamin directly. Regular vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is only water-soluble and therefore needs more time: the body first has to convert the vitamin into a fat-soluble substance.
CAVAQ10®
Proviform uses CAVAQ10® due to its high bioavailability. A dosage of 50 mg CAVAQ10® is comparable to 180 mg of regular ubiquinone. An effectiveness that is 3.6 times greater. CAVAQ10® is of natural origin, as are the excipients used.
CAVAQ10® is a highly bioavailable coenzyme Q10 powder with improved dispersibility in water. Coenzyme Q10 itself is not water-soluble and has lower bioavailability. CAVAQ10® offers an excellent solution for increasing bioavailability by using plant-based cyclodextrins. Cyclodextrins can enable certain substances to dissolve in water. This is because the molecules of that substance "nestle" in the cavity of so-called pockets, creating a complex that is water-soluble.
Lutein
Lutein is highly concentrated in the macula of the eye, as well as in the retina, lens and optic nerve. Lutein belongs to a class of carotenoids known as xanthophylls, which are found in brightly coloured fruits and vegetables. Xanthophylls act as natural sunscreens in plants and protect them from the harmful effects of excessive light. These xanthophylls form the macular pigment with the highest density in the macula lutea.
The human body cannot produce lutein itself, which means we must obtain it from our diet or supplements.

Usage
Take 2-3 capsules with water during a meal or as advised. Consult a doctor before using vitamin K2 if you are taking anticoagulants (such as acenocoumarol).
