Proviform Magnesium Citrate 250 & B6 Magnesium in the easily absorbable, organic form of magnesium citrate. Proviform magnesium citrate contains the active form of vitamin B6 (P-5-P) with optimal bioavailability. Magnesium citrate is more readily absorbed thanks to pyridoxal-5-phosphate (B6).
Magnesium citrate in capsules is almost never produced. This is because for every 125 mg of elemental magnesium, as in Proviform magnesium citrate capsules, 752 mg of magnesium citrate is needed. To increase the amount of elemental magnesium, tablets are made. These are often large and not always easy for everyone to swallow. Therefore, Proviform offers magnesium citrate in both capsule and tablet form. The capsules have the advantage of being easy to swallow and containing only rice extract as an excipient. In addition, vegetarian pullulan capsules are used, which provide additional protection for the ingredients.
