Calcium citrate in capsules is rarely made. The reason for this is that for every 150 mg of elemental calcium, as in the Proviform calcium citrate capsules, more than 700 mg of calcium citrate is needed. To increase the amount of elemental calcium, tablets are made. These are often large and not always easy for everyone to swallow. Proviform therefore offers calcium citrate in both capsule and tablet form. The capsules have the advantage that they are easy to swallow and contain only rice extract as an excipient. In addition, vegetarian pullulan capsules are used, which provide extra protection to the ingredients. Proviform calcium citrate contains 5 mcg of natural vitamin D3 per capsule for good calcium absorption.

Usage
Take 1 to 3 capsules daily with water during a meal or as advised. This food supplement is not suitable for children under 1 year of age. Magnesium may have a laxative effect.
