Prioderm Dimethicone Lotion

Prioderm Dimethicone Lotion kills head lice and nits. The lotion contains no pesticides and has an application time of 15 minutes. Prioderm Dimethicone Lotion consists mainly of dimethicone (more than 95%). Prioderm Dimethicone Lotion penetrates the respiratory organs of head lice and nits, suffocating them. Head lice cannot develop resistance to Prioderm Dimethicone Lotion. To break the life cycle of head lice, it is important to repeat the treatment after 9-10 days.

Use
Prioderm Dimethicone is used for the treatment of head lice and nits.

Instructions for use
Prioderm Dimethicone is a lotion that should be applied to dry hair. Approximately 20-100 ml of lotion is needed per treatment, depending on hair length and type. For shoulder-length hair, 30-50 ml per treatment is sufficient. It is important to apply a generous amount of lotion, enough to completely cover all hair, from the scalp to the ends. Proceed as follows: - Twist off the cap from the tip of the applicator bottle and apply the lotion with the convenient applicator tip all over the scalp. - Thoroughly massage Prioderm Dimethicone into the hair and onto the scalp until all hair, from scalp to ends, is covered. - Leave Prioderm Dimethicone on for at least 15 minutes. - Then apply a generous amount of shampoo without water and massage the shampoo into the hair. - Only then rinse the hair with water. It may be necessary to wash the hair 2-4 times with shampoo before it no longer feels greasy. Wash it several times until the shampoo lathers well. - Comb the hair with a brush or wide-toothed comb to remove any tangles. For long hair, it is easy to divide the hair into 4 equal parts using elastics or clips. - Thoroughly comb through each section with the enclosed nit comb. After each comb stroke, rinse and/or wipe the nit comb with a tissue. If there are lice or eggs in the comb, remove them immediately with plenty of water. - Repeat the process with the other sections. It takes approximately 20-25 minutes to comb the hair properly and carefully. - Important: repeat the treatment after 9-10 days. This is necessary to break the life cycle of head lice. Mark it on your calendar or set an alarm on your mobile phone so you don't forget. It is also important to check all family members once head lice have been found and don't forget yourself! Family members found to have head lice should be treated simultaneously to prevent re-infestation within the family. Re-infestation: re-infestation can occur after treatment has started. In that case, immediately retreat with Prioderm Dimethicone and repeat the treatment after 9-10 days. There is no risk of head lice becoming resistant to Prioderm Dimethicone.

Warnings
If irritation or hypersensitivity occurs, stop the treatment and wash your hair with water and shampoo. Consult a doctor if the irritation persists.

Storage advice
Store Prioderm Dimethicone in the closed, original packaging, along with these instructions for use, at room temperature and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date. After use, firmly screw the cap back onto the tip of the applicator.
