Bergamot is a citrus fruit grown primarily in Calabria, southern Italy. The bergamot tree grows up to 4 meters tall, has evergreen, oblong leaves, white flowers, and round to pear-shaped, tart bergamot fruits, which are harvested between November and March. Bergamot is primarily used in perfumery (Eau de Cologne) as a top note and in food flavorings (Earl Grey tea).

Usage
