Arugula seed organic Arugula seeds are related to mustard and radish. After germination, they produce a spicy sprout with a slightly nutty flavor. Delicious on toast with cream cheese.
Ingredients Arugula seeds
Usage 1. Cover a saucer or plate with a layer of unscented zigzag cotton wool and moisten it. Press out most of the water (tilting the saucer), creating an even surface.
2. Spread one or two teaspoons of seeds over the top. Avoid stacking the seeds on top of each other, as seed piles can form clumps. Press the seeds lightly.
Place the saucer at room temperature. Provide plenty of daylight, but do not place it in direct sunlight.
3. Ensure (but only after the seed has germinated) that the cotton wool layer remains moist (not too wet) for the remainder of the growing period¹.
4. Once the growing time has elapsed, cut off the remaining sprouts as low as possible. The sprouts are now ready to eat.
Enjoy your meal!
The dish containing the leftover portion can be stored at room temperature. It can be eaten for several days.
¹ Cultivation time: ± 6 days
