Composition per one and a half scoop (2 grams):

Ingredients
Rice starch, maltodextrin, natural protein isolate, bacterial culture.
Usage
The recommended dosage for children from the moment of complementary feeding up to six years is 2 grams per day (one and a half scoop). Add the powder to lukewarm water or skimmed milk, yoghurt drink, lemonade (syrup) at room temperature, stir and drink preferably on an empty stomach. The recommended daily dose for young children can also be added to one warmed bottle feed, expressed breast milk or a small amount of boiled and cooled water (maximum temperature 37°C). Close the packaging carefully after use, store dry and at room temperature, and use up opened packaging within 3 months. Extra usage tipsAt what time of day?It is preferable to take probiotics on an empty stomach, for example just before going to bed, but another time of day is also allowed. When the stomach is empty, the probiotic bacteria are present in the stomach for a shorter time and no digestive juices are produced yet. These juices are of course useful for digestion, but they reduce the survival rate of the bacteria in the product. After taking the supplement, wait half an hour before eating, otherwise these juices will still be activated. If you cannot take the probiotics on an empty stomach, take them at any other time.Why dissolve?The Orthiflor products in powder form and the powder from the capsules should preferably first be dissolved and stirred in lukewarm liquid (see above) before consumption. The billions of bacteria in the capsules, loose powder or sachets are brought into a kind of 'dormant state' during production, allowing them to be stored for a longer period, and they need liquid to come back to life. If they were to enter the stomach acid directly in their 'dormant state', a large portion of the bacteria would not survive. Bacteria also do not like cold liquid. Lukewarm liquid is preferred. If you choose convenience and take probiotics in chewable tablets, your saliva provides the necessary moisture.
