Oak Clove organic

Traditionally, clove oil is one of the best-known essential oils. It is a powerful and irreplaceable oil in the home medicine cabinet.
Its high eugenol content makes it less suitable for use in baths or on the skin, except when diluted and for local use, for example, to massage muscles and joints.

Composition

Origin: Madagascar/Sri Lanka

Ingredients
Eugenia caryophyllata essential oil* (100%). *organic cultivation

Depending on your taste or the size of the room.

Storage advice
General precautions: 1. Always respect the recommended dosage/dilution stated on the packaging. 2. Store essential oils out of reach of children, in a cool place and in a well-sealed bottle! 3. Essential oils are flammable and volatile. Do not expose them to high temperatures! 4. Patients with epilepsy, asthma, and heart conditions should only use essential oils in consultation with their doctor. 5. Essential oils of thyme, oregano, clove, and wintergreen are irritating. Do not take, diffuse, or apply undiluted to the skin! 6. Poison Control Centre:• Belgium: +32 70 245 245 • Netherlands: +31 30 274 88 88 Precautions for internal use: 1. Certain essential oils are only suitable for external use! This is always clearly stated on the packaging. 2. Not suitable for children under 12 years of age and pregnant or lactating women. 3. NEVER use undiluted. Use a carrier (honey, herbal infusion,…) for the intake of essential oils. 4. In case of accidental ingestion of a large amount of essential oil (from ½ ml), drink some edible vegetable oil and consult the Poison Control Centre. 5. Continuous use of essential oils is not recommended. Precautions for external use: 1. As a precaution, it is recommended not to use essential oils in children under 3 years of age and pregnant or lactating women. True lavender and Eucalyptus radiata are exceptions to this. 2. NEVER apply undiluted to the skin. Dilute in a vegetable oil, cream, gel or shampoo, also for use in baths! Some essential oils can be applied neat to the skin after advice from a health professional. 3. Essential oils naturally contain components that can cause allergic reactions in hypersensitive people (e.g., citral, d-limonene, linalool, geraniol, citronellol,…). These components are always stated on the packaging. Before using an essential oil on the skin, it is wise to do an allergy test. Dilute one drop of essential oil in 10 ml of vegetable oil and apply this to the inside of your elbow. If the skin does not feel red or itchy after 24 hours, you are not allergic. 4. All citrus essential oils are photosensitizing! Photosensitization is the result of an interaction between UV rays and a sensitizing substance. The skin becomes red and looks sunburned. Avoid exposure to UV rays for at least 12 hours after topical use! 5. Avoid contact with eyes, ears, nose and mucous membranes! In case of accidental contact: immediately 'rinse' with vegetable oil.
