Before using an essential oil on the skin, it is wise to do an allergy test. Dilute one drop of essential oil in 10 ml of vegetable oil and apply it to the inside _x0002_of your elbow. If the skin is not red or itchy after 24 hours, you are not allergic.
4. All citrus essential oils are photosensitizing! Photosensitization is the result of an interaction between UV rays and a sensitizing substance. The skin becomes red and looks sunburned. Avoid exposure to UV rays for at least 12 hours after skin application!
5. Avoid contact with eyes, ears, nose and mucous membranes! In case of accidental contact: immediately
'rinse' with vegetable oil.
