Allergy alert test (patch test)
Perform before each colouring treatment, allergies can occur suddenly, even if you have previously used a colouring product from this or another brand.
Colouring products can cause an allergic reaction, which in rare cases can be severe. To help prevent the risk of an allergic reaction, it is therefore necessary to observe the following precautions:
- Temporary tattoos with black henna can increase the risk of an allergic reaction.
- Do not colour hair if:
* you have a rash on your face or a sensitive, irritated or damaged scalp.
* you have previously had a reaction after hair colouring
* you have had a reaction in the past to a temporary black henna tattoo.
Performing the sensitivity test (48 hours before treatment)
- Remove earrings. Apply sufficient unmixed colour product (tube of colour cream) to a cotton swab. Close the packaging carefully to use it for the colour treatment after these 48 hours.
- Apply sufficient unmixed colour product to an area the size of a one euro cent coin (1 - 2 cm) behind the ear with the cotton swab.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 in the same way for the anti-yellow conditioner.
- Wait 48 hours without washing, covering or touching.
If a reaction is observed during this period, such as itching, red spots or swelling of the tested area, do not use this colouring product.
In case of a reaction during application, such as severe tingling, skin irritation, rash or a burning sensation on the scalp, rinse immediately and discontinue use. If breathing difficulties occur, seek immediate medical attention. It is recommended to consult a doctor before using a colouring product again.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact of the product with skin and eyes. Do not use for colouring eyelashes and eyebrows.
In case of contact of the product with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Contact lens wearers: if possible, remove contact lenses first before rinsing eyes.
Wear enclosed gloves.
Prepare and apply the product in a well-ventilated area.
Do not inhale or ingest.
If you have any questions about your individual (hyper)sensitivity, consult a doctor.
Do not use for colouring beards or moustaches or for any use other than colouring head hair. Avoid any unnecessary contact with the skin.
Wait at least 15 days for a colouring treatment after a perm or treatment with a permanent straightening product.
Do not use on hair coloured with henna or a progressive dye.
